Louise Edwards
Yoga Instructor
Louise Edwards is a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor who has been teaching across the North East since completing her teacher training in 2017. She brings a uniquely inclusive, creative, and encouraging approach to her sessions, ensuring that every participant feels welcomed, supported, and empowered—regardless of age, ability, or experience level.
Louise’s teaching style is rooted in her belief that yoga is not one-size-fits-all. She prioritises safe, personalised practice, using clear verbal alignment cues to guide individuals through movement in a way that feels accessible and enjoyable. Her sessions are known for being free of ego and full of positive energy, helping participants feel refreshed, nourished, and relaxed—both in body and mind.
Since joining Active Families North East, Louise has been a valued addition to the team, delivering sessions that blend physical wellbeing with mindfulness and connection. Her presence brings warmth and calm, and her classes are a space where individuals can both build strength and find stillness in their week.
Louise is passionate about the wider benefits of yoga, from improved mobility and posture to enhanced emotional wellbeing, and takes great pride in helping people discover these through regular, thoughtful practice.
